Our crucial first step is listening to our clients. Once we understand their needs, we tailor special intelligence “targets” listing precisely the information points desired. We establish parameters for our research and decide what level of confidentiality is required. Secrecy is usually essential so we use confidentiality agreements promising to keep the client’s identities private. Typically, the client will not want the target of any inquiry to know of our investigation. However, we abide strictly by the ethics code of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals that forbids us from doing anything illegal or unethical.

We use a variety of sources both public and confidential for our research. If necessary, we can travel and contact experts for confidential interviews. We also make discrete inquiries among knowledgeable individuals who can help us prepare insightful analysis. Galuszka Associates has a global network of former journalists and government officials in Europe, Asia and Latin America who can help report needed information, offer insights about foreign markets and make smart suggestions as to global economic and political trends.

Lastly, we write report or prepare in-person presentations of our findings, analysis and recommendations. We keep in mind that our product is intelligence that is forward-looking and predictive. It must be fresh and thorough to give our clients the timely understanding they need to make the correct decisions.

We understand that speed and accuracy are essential. Thus, we can work very quickly to provide information about fast-emerging business opportunities, sometimes in a matter of hours. Or, we can provide highly detailed, in-depth reports than can take weeks to complete.
